Catholic Record Society: The searching out, preservation, and publishing - or otherwise making available to researchers and the public - any materials pertaining to events, persons, organizations, and places in the historic Diocese of Columbus [including times previous to the Diocese's formation in 1868].

Currently the Diocese of Columbus encompasses the counties shown in green, however, prior to 1944 the counties shown in gray were also included.

Since 1975 the Society has published over 3000 pages of priceless records and fascinating narratives of historical and genealogical interest in its monthly Newsletter, Barquilla de la Santa Maria. See The Barquilla tab, above, for a full subject index for every issue, online editions of the first 12 years (over 1100 pages), and how to obtain copies of any of the other issues.
